The WCMAS Annual Women’s Conference is a power-packed weekend of worship, da’wah, and sisterhood organized by Muslim women for Muslim women. It is a gathering of Muslim women from all over the continental U.S. and abroad for the pleasure of Allah (SWT) and for the purposes of increasing their knowledge, understanding, and application of Islam. Proceeds from the conference are used to support the Halimah Mujahid Scholarship and other charitable activities in the community.
In 2014, we welcomed over 900 attendees to the conference, Alhamdulillah. Our guests travel from all across the country and from as far as the Caribbean, Africa and the Middle East.
The conference program typically includes Jumuah (Friday congregational prayers), keynote addresses, breakout workshop sessions, a vendor marketplace, congregational salah, halal entertainment, and gourmet catered zabihah meals.
In addition, younger sisters in attendance, from age 12-19, are treated to a full day of activities complete with their own age-appropriate sessions. We also offer a workshop session specifically designed for non-Muslim and newly Muslim women and girls interested in learning more about Islam.
The Women’s Committee of Masjid As-Saffat would like to thank all of the sisters and vendors who have supported us over the years. Please join us April 14-16, 2017 for our 34th Annual Women’s Conference, inshaAllah.
