Scholarship
The Halimah Mujahid Scholarship was established in 1992 to provide educational funds to Muslim students (male or female) who have graduated from a full-time Islamic high school or completed home schooling in the state of Maryland. Alhamdulillah, WCMAS has awarded over $50,000 in scholarships to date.
Named after a late member of WCMAS who became a victim of domestic violence, the scholarship is designed to provide assistance to Muslim students who are unable to fully benefit from publicly subsidized federal aid programs because they did not graduate from public school.
